Squibb Group is fully aware of its environmental responsibilities, with ethical, regulatory and commercial factors driving best practice, innovation and continual improvement. Our Environmental Management System is certified to the internationally recognised standard ISO14001, which demonstrates our on-going commitment to continual improvement and best practice.
Recycling and environmental management has been a core competency of Squibb Group since the company’s birth in 1948 and with the cooperation and support of our Clients and Contract Partners, it continues to be so.
Key to success is planning, and as such the potential impact of all of our projects are quantified and assessed prior to the start of any works.
Squibb Group is fully equipped to provide environmental monitoring and impact assessment using the most advanced equipment and technique. Indeed the latest equipment and specialist techniques are also utilised for dust and vibrations monitoring.
Recent innovations include investment in a fleet of TechnoAlpin V12 dust suppression systems and the use of satellite tracking to monitor and plan vehicle movements and further reduce carbon footprint.
The use of cloud based software (BRE SMART Waste - www.smartwaste.co.uk) to plan waste management and recycling to ensure high performance and transparency for other stakeholders as we meet, and often exceed our targets of 98% recycling for all projects.
