Squibb Group are extremely appreciative of the following wonderful feedback and expert opinion from a long-time local and extremely knowledgeable West Byfleet resident:

“Until I retired I had been involved with the quarrying, mining and demolition industries for almost 50 years. The first twenty two years I worked for an industry leading US based company and the last twenty seven years I ran my own company supplying continuous weighing and control systems to just about every major manufacturer around the world. My systems were in use in at least a hundred countries and over the years I personally had visited/worked in over eighty countries. With this background I think I am pretty well qualified to comment on a demolition job!

With this experience you may imagine I have been interested to watch the progress of the job your company is carrying out on Sheer House in West Byfleet. I have lived in the village pretty much all my life and I walk past the site every day.

Now to the more interesting part! I have been meaning to contact you simply to compliment your company… and of course more specifically your West Byfleet site staff on the outstanding  job they are doing. I honestly can’t remember seeing a better organised contract and the level of cleanliness and minimum of disruption is simply exceptional. It has been clear to see the day to day progress and at all times  – apart from the unavoidable actual immediate work area – the site has been kept amazingly clean and this of course has prevented the almost inevitable contamination of the surrounding area.

We have been through an unusually hot period but not seen any significant dust… and over the past few days have had some very wet weather but there is no sign of mud/slurry on the roads… a truly brilliant achievement.

I know only too well that this industry attracts many complaints but just for once I would like to give some praise. You are doing a difficult job… within a very tight environment and this has been achieved with the absolute minimum of public inconvenience… a real credit to the guys who are working on the site.

I look forward to watching the remaining part of the site clearance.” DH
